Smartisan has just unveiled a new smartphone, the Smartisan Nuts Pro. Many of you might not have heard of this company yet, but they do release rather compelling devices from time to time. Smartisan is a China-based smartphone manufacturer, and following the Snapdragon 821 Smartisan M1 and M1L devices they announced in October last year, the company just introduced a new mid-ranger which comes with a rather interesting design, and a set of compelling specs, read on.

As you can see, the phone comes with some sharp angles, and a circular fingerprint scanner which is placed below the display. Side bezels on this smartphone are really thin, and the Smartisan Nuts Pro packs in two cameras on its back. The volume up, volume down and power / lock keys are placed on the right-hand side of this device, and the phone comes in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage models. Now, there are some differences between those three models, the 32GB and 64GB variants do not offer NFC, while the 128GB storage model comes with NFC. The 32GB storage variant is fueled by the Snapdragon 625 64-bit octa-core SoC, and ships with an 8-megapixel snapper, while the other two models come with a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter, and are fueled by the Snapdragon 626 64-bit octa-core SoC.

The Smartisan Nuts Pro sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) In-Cell IPS display, and 4GB of RAM. A 3,500mAh battery is included in this package, and it is not removable, while it offers Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. An unspecified version of Android comes pre-installed on the Smartisan Nuts Pro, and on top of it, you’re getting Smartisan’s OS 3.6 skin. This phone offers 4G LTE connectivity, comes in Wine Red and Black Color variants, while the highest-end model also comes in a Fine Red Line color variant. The phone measures 155 x 73.4 x 6.98mm, while it weighs 158 grams. The 32GB storage variant of this phone cost 1,499 Yuan ($217), the 64GB storage model will set you back 1,799 Yuan ($261), while the highest-end 128GB storage variant costs 2,299 Yuan ($333). The Smartisan Nuts Pro can be purchased from the company’s official website in China (source link down below), though it is possible that the phone will launch in other regions, but the company did not release any info regarding that, at least not yet.
