ASUS has just introduced its latest curved gaming monitor, ROG Strix XG27VQ.
At a price of $349.99, this 27-inches full HD, 1800R curved monitor has relatively low, 1080p, resolution and is targeted towards lower end of the market. However, this entry-level gaming monitor has a high, 144Hz, refresh rate that provides fluid gaming visual experience. ROG Strix XG27VQ features the latest ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology, which eliminates smearing and motion blur, and makes objects in motion look sharper, so gameplay is more fluid and responsive.
The monitor features AMD’s Adaptive Sync (FreSyncTM) technology that eliminates screen tearing and choppy frame rates and provides lag-free visuals for latest games. This gaming monitor also features ASUS Aura RGB lighting on the back and offers several lighting modes to complement games with stylish look. Strix XG27VQ has very narrow bezel that makes it ideal for multi-display setups.

ROG Strix XG27VQ offers a wide selection of connectivity options, including HDMI, Display Port 1.2 and Dual Link-DVI. This monitor features the ASUS GamePlus hotkey for in-game enhancements. The crosshair overlay provides four different crosshair options, while the onscreen timer positioned on the left of the screen helps gamers keep track of elapsed gaming time. The FPS counter lets users know how smoothly the game is running. The display alignment function provides three alignment lines on all four sides of the monitor to take the guesswork out of multi-display setups.
ROG Strix XG27VQ has an adjustable height, tilt, swivel and can be attached to a VESA wall mounting.
