Asus took advantage of the Computex show to unveil Precog, a dual screen laptop and fuel with artificial intelligence.
At the moment, Computex is in full swing and builders are taking the opportunity to showcase their new products and innovations. Without a doubt, the Taiwanese manufacturer Asus is by far the star of the show. After having talked about him with his new ZenBook Pro 15, Asus has just made us move into the future by presenting Precog, a laptop prototype doped with AI and having two touch screens.

Equipped with a 360 ° hinge, the device is hybrid can be used as a laptop, but also in tablet mode, flat or tent mode, a bit like what Lenovo had proposed with its Yoga Book . With a difference in size: if the Yoga Book boarded a slate displaying a virtual keyboard, the Precog uses a second 13.3-inch screen (like the main) that will display the keyboard, but which can also display other applications or be used as a second screen.

That's not all, as Asus hinted that Precog would be able to adapt to each user and anticipate their needs, thanks to his advanced AI. The prototype was created jointly with Microsoft to exploit Cortana at best, but Amazon's Alexa assistant could also be used in addition. If we still do not know anything about the data sheet, Asus announced that the device would be equipped with a dedicated image processing processor and created by Intel called Movidius.
The Precog not expected to officially arrive in the trade before 2019, we will have ample time to know more.
