Facebook is currently testing the integration of auto-play advertising videos into its instant messenger.
You will resume a few more advertisements in your Messenger conversations? The information was confirmed by a spokesperson for Facebook Quartz magazine (link in English) who was the first information. Autoplay videos will of course not be embedded in conversations, but in the conversation list in the "Sponsored Content" space that Facebook introduced last year in Messenger.
"We will roll out video ads in a progressive and thoughtful way" announces Facebook, stating that users "" will remain masters of their experience "... This does not mean that it will be possible to prevent videos from starting when will have the misfortune to scroller, but rather that it will be possible to refine the advertisements that we prefer to see.
